    Arthur Russell – Lucky cloud
    Arthur Russell (May 21 1951 – April 4, 1992) was a prodigious talent. Classically trained on cello while growing up in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Arthur studied with Ali Akbar Khan in San Francisco in the early 1970’s.
    During this period he also collaborated with Allen Ginsberg, accompanying him on cello while Ginsberg read or sang. Russell also spent time in a Buddhist commune in California; he left when they decided to collectivize his cello.

    Louis La Roche is a French House producer from Norwich, UK. His style is French house/house. On Valentines Day 2008, a song named “Love” was published many blogs and websites, saying that Thomas Bangalter made the song. However, Louis La Roche is the real artist behind this song.
    Soon after the release of “Love”, Louis released a five track EP called ‘The Peach EP’ in April 2008.

    Hot Chocolate – Every 1’s A Winner
    Best known stateside for their 70’s hits “You Sexy Thing” and “Every 1’s A Winner”, the English group had numerous UK hits and for a time were even affiliated with The Beatles’ label Apple Records. Formed in Brixton, London, circa 1968/69 the original core members included percussionist Patrick Olive, guitarist Franklyn De Allie and drummer Ian King, along with bass player Tony Wilson, pianist Larry Ferguson and with Jamaican born songwriter/vocalist Errol Brown. For Apple, they released a reggae version of “Give Peace A Chance”, and backed Mary Hopkins on “Think About Your Children” before the Apple label dissolved.

    Calypso Rose – Calypso blues
    McArtha Lewis, better known as Calypso Rose (born April 27, 1940 in Bethel, Tobago) is a Tobagonian calypsonian.
    Named after the American general Douglas MacArthur, Rose’s earliest years were a crowded environment – 19 people in a one-bedroom house. When she was 9, she moved to live with an uncle in Barataria
    She began writing songs at the age of 15, and has written over 800 songs. In 1966 she wrote the song Fire in Me Wire, which has since become a calypso anthem. Rose was the first female to win the Trinidad Road March Competition, in 1977 with her song Tempo.

There are sources which name the duo members as U-Go-B and Jimmy2Sox but nothing official has been released by the group itself. Jimmy2Sox’s cousin is Gus Da Hoodrat from the Bang Gang DJs.

    Darondo Pulliam, who performed in the 70s under the name Darondo, was a funk and soul singer who sounded like a combination of Ronald Isley and Al Green. Little known by anyone except serious enthusiasists of that genre, Darondo is highly respected by that limited audience.
    He opened-up for James Brown and lived a colorful lifestyle hanging with folks like the notorious Fillmore Slim. The mythology surrounding Darondo is that he was a pimp. However, he denies this claim.

    Greenskeepers is forever changing as a meeting of minds and a catalog of music. The name was founded by childhood friends James Curd and Nick Maurer in 1999. James and Nick grew up skateboarding together in Chicago. Nick bounced around local punk bands while James was djing in Chicago clubs and raves when he was only 15 years old.
    At the age of 18 James built up a music studio and began producing Chicago house. His first release came out on the french label Basenotic in 1999. Soon after James released “Whats Your Man Got To Do WIth Gan” on Classic Records.
