Collaborators have included David Byrne (of Talking Heads), Dizzee Rascal, Jamie T, Martha Wainwright and Iggy Pop. Brighton Port Authority has already had a quiet release.
    Emmy the Great is fronted by Emma-Lee Moss, born in Hong Kong and now living in London, United Kingdom, noted for her evocative / thought-provoking lyrics and inventive rhymes.

Having been offered “major label deals” in 2009, she released her first single with the label Rinse in 2010.

As a solo artist Tom releases/has released as Amba, Cosmos, The Mod Wheel, Schizophrenia, The Rebus Project, and Spiritcatcher. Other collaborations include Fogcity with Mark Darby and Matthew Herbert, The Bays, Robortom with Rob Da Bank, and Aphex Twin with whom Middleton co-produced the track “En Trance To Exit” from the seminal “Analogue Bubblebath” EP.

    Born Germaine Williams in 1974 in Jamaica, Canibus moved to the United States with his mother at a young age. Because his mother’s career required constant relocation, the family moved frequently and the soon-to-be rapper found solace within himself. His rhetorical abilities blossomed later, once hip-hop became the guiding force in his life. He began rhyming and in the mid-’90s joined a group called T.H.E.M. (The Heralds of Extreme Metaphors.)

    Angus and Julia Stone – Big Jet Plane (Adam G Remix)
    Siblings Julia Stone and Angus Stone come from Newport, Australia. Angus and Julia’s decision to collaborate was taken at the beginning of 2006. Prior to that, both had performed as solo artists at open mic nights but utilised the other as a backing partner. Ultimately they came up with the same idea, “Why don’t we play together? It kind of made a lot of sense”. In terms of composing the material, they write on their own, then work together on structure and harmonies.

    Pete Drake was a major Nashville, Tennessee-based record producer and pedal steel guitar player.
    In 1964 he had an international hit on Smash Records with his “talking steel guitar” playing on the album ‘Forever’. His innovative use of what would be called the “talk box” added novel effects to the pedal steel guitar. (Later used by artists Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh and Jeff Beck.)

    Raphael Saadiq (born Charlie Ray Wiggins on May 14, 1966 in Oakland, California) is an acclaimed American music artist. He is a singer, songwriter and record producer associated with the neo-soul music movement.
    Saadiq made a name for himself as the lead vocalist in the rhythm and blues and dance trio Tony! Toni! Toné!. He went by his birth name during the beginning of Tony! Toni! Toné!, where he was joined by his brother Dwayne Wiggins, and his cousin Timothy Christian. He adopted the name of Raphael Saadiq in the mid-1990s.

The band’s original lineup consisted of Bryan Ferry (vocals, keyboards), Phil Manzanera (guitar), Andy Mackay (saxophone, oboe), Brian Eno (synthesizer, “treatments”), Graham Simpson (bass) and Paul Thompson (drums, percussion). Simpson left the band in 1972, and Eno left in 1973. After Eno left the band, he was replaced by Eddie Jobson (synthesizer, violin).

    Hot Chocolate – Every 1’s A Winner
    Best known stateside for their 70’s hits “You Sexy Thing” and “Every 1’s A Winner”, the English group had numerous UK hits and for a time were even affiliated with The Beatles’ label Apple Records. Formed in Brixton, London, circa 1968/69 the original core members included percussionist Patrick Olive, guitarist Franklyn De Allie and drummer Ian King, along with bass player Tony Wilson, pianist Larry Ferguson and with Jamaican born songwriter/vocalist Errol Brown. For Apple, they released a reggae version of “Give Peace A Chance”, and backed Mary Hopkins on “Think About Your Children” before the Apple label dissolved.
